Description
Join us on Zoom for a Health Occupations Information Session designed for new students registered for their first term at LBCC. We'll clarify which programs require applications and which do not, explain how to build a course schedule that keeps multiple career pathways open, and walk through timelines for each program so you can plan ahead with confidence.
Questions & Answers
The session is held via Zoom. After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link and instructions.
We’ll go over different Health Occupation program options, including:
Programs that don’t require an application
Certificate and one-year options
Two-year AAS degree programs
We'll talk about parallel pathways to get started with classes, especially if you're unsure which program is the best fit for you.
The session typically lasts about 50 minutes, including time for Q&A.
It depends! After the information session, we'll figure out if you need to have an individual advising appointment or if you're all set for the next term.
Please note that sessions are available nearly every week. This is planned to best address questions in small groups. If you are absolutely unable to attend, send an email to hoogesl@linnbenton.edu with your student ID#, the program you're interested in, and any questions you have about the program.
Mostly yes, however the focus is on you the student so we will save questions/input from others until the end of the session.
